| Published in Today's News-Herald on Oct. 5, 1997 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - James Walter Lick Jr. of Lake Havasu City died Sept. 29, 1997, at Havasu Samaritan Regional Hospital. He was 80. He was born Jan 14, 1917, in Newark, N.J. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in World War II. For 45 years he was employed as an engineer by Bridge Construction in Pennsylvania. Prior to his retirement he was owner of Carbon County Construction Company in Lehigham, Pa. Four years ago he moved to Lake Havasu City from Las Vegas, Nev. Survivors include his sons, James Charles Lick, Richmond, Va., James Walter Lick III, Leighton, Pa.; daughters, Bonita Auders, Colonial Heights, Va., Barbara Stevenson, Burtonsville, Md.; sisters, Pauline Bartoli, Maplewood, N.J., Marion Gerstermeir, Irvington, N.J.; grandchildren, Christopher Hayden, Burtonsville, Md., Angel Lick, Colonial Heights, Va. Services will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Lebanon, Pa. Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. See Also: Find A Grave |
