| Published in Today's News Herald on Jan. 1, 2019 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona >> Feb. 5, 1923 – Dec. 21, 2018 << Carmen Enriqueta Mariani passed away at the age of 95 in the early hours of Dec. 21 in Lake Havasu City. Born and raised in Colima, Mexico; she left Mexico to work in the Mexican Consulate in Los Angeles, later becoming a U.S. citizen. A sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and treasured friend, she will be remembered for her love of travel. Her long full life saw her living in Mexico, California, Virginia, Argentina, Guatemala, and Saudi Arabia. She remained ever supportive of her husband, Eiseo, in his many business ventures and his employment by the U.S. government. She was the eldest of five children and is survived by a sister. Her extended family includes six grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, all of whom will carry her memory with them always. A rosary will be held at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2019 with a funeral mass to follow at 11 a.m. Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
