| Arizona Weekly Journal-Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, June 27, 1894, page 3.2 (From Saturday's Daily) M. J. Foley died this morning at 11 o'clock at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Duke, two miles north of town, after a protracted illness. Mr. Foley was well known in Northern Arizona and particularly along the line of the A. & P. railroad. He had been stopping with his daughter, Mrs. John Duke for several months, in the hope of regaining his health, but without avail. He leaves a wife and a large family of children to mourn his loss.
