| Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - John Adolph Ruud, 79, and Dale Delight Ruud, 71, passed away together in an unfortunate car accident on May 15, 2007 near Kingman, AZ. John was born to Thorf and Anita (Sten) Ruud on May 16, 1927 in Delano, MN. He was a member of the VFW, a 32nd Degree Mason and liked to go fishing. He was a very friendly person, a great story teller and had a lot of friends. He saved many peoples' lives with resuscitation and was even given an award for it. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elaine Ruud and brother, Frank Ruud. Dale was born to Jack & Garnet (White) Kelber on June 16, 1936 in Queens, NY. She worked hard at everything she did. She liked knitting, sewing, computers, crafts, professional cake decorating and breeding pure bred Schnauzers. She had a very big heart and would go out of her way to help others. She is survived by her first husband; Richard Dingley Sr. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Dingley Jr. and sister, Joy Kelber. John and Dale are survived by their loving family, sons, George Ruud and Donald Wheat, both of Minnesota, Frank Ruud of Alabama and Boyd Ruud of Minnesota; daughters, Lisa Ruud Shook of Nevada and Denise Spike of Minnesota; Dale's brother, Wes Kelber; eighteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, five nephews, one niece, and their loyal companion, Tristan. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2007, 11:00 am at Washburn-McReavy Funeral Home in Edina, MN.Thoughts and condolences may be submitted to the family at www.lietz-frazefuneralhome.com Arrangements were placed under the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory. |
