| Prescott Journal-Miner, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, May 13, 1917, page 7, column 3 Long Illness Is Fatal To Pioneer Hines Beavers, since 1879 a resident of this county, passed away yesterday morning after an illness of over five years, due to complications of diseases arising from stomach troubles. He was 51 years and a native of Georgia. During his residence in this section he was highly regarded for his industry and good citizenship. He leaves in this city a mother, sister and brother. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from Ruffner's chapel.
