| Tombstone Epitaph, Tombstone, Arizona Territory Sunday, June 25, 1911, page 2, column 4 Territorial News Of Interest - M. S. Burhans, a contractor and resident of Prescott, died in Flagstaff June 10, of pneumonia. He was 67 years of age. ------------------------------------------ Coconino Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Territory Sunday, June 16, 1911, page 1, column 4 M. S. Burhans Dead Mr. M. S. Burhans, who was brought to the Milton hospital from Ash Fork, last week suffering from pneumonia, died last Saturday morning. Mr. Burhans was a contractor and builder and had been building cement dams in the vicinity of Ash Fork. He was a veteran of the civil war, entering the army from New York. He leaves two sons at Ash Fork. The remains were taken to Prescott Tuesday for interment. Transcriber's note: Mr. Burhans is buried at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
