Sudden Death -
J. W. Curtis (sic), who for several months has been at the county
hospital in poor health, passed away suddenly yesterday afternoon, his
death being due to an attack of heart failure. He was a native of New
York, and aged about 57 years.
No known relatives in this section survive him, but in his native state
there are said to be several closely related to him. He came to this
section from Cochise county, where he was employed in smelters,
contracting an affliction from which later led to his death.
