| Published in Today's News-Herald on Jan. 9, 2019 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Jimmy Keith Simpson passed away Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018 at his home in Lake Havasu City with his family by his side. He was born Oct. 25, 1946 in Long Beach, California to Ralph and Palestine Simpson. Jimmy married the love of his life Sally on Jan. 5, 1991 in Los Alamitos, California. Jimmy worked for McDonnell Douglas before going on to spend five years on the Long Beach Police Department and finally retiring from Southern California Edison. In his free time, Jimmy loved everything about hot rods and had a real passion for food. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife Sally; children, Randy Simpson and Wendy Ramos; his grandchildren, Monique Tressel, Megg King, and Kade King; and his great-grandchild, Thadius Tressel. Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday Jan. 12, 2019 at 11 a.m at Hilltop Church, 3180 N. McCulloch Blvd., Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403.
