| Published in Today's News-Herald on Jan. 9, 2019 Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Harold Wayne Summey, "Skip," 90, passed away on Nov. 28, 2018 in Lake Havasu City. He was born in Stryker, Ohio on Jan. 2, 1928. Harold married his true love, Betty, on May 29, 1971. They were blessed with 47 years of adventure together. They enjoyed camping, boating, fishing, and traveling. They traveled the Oregon, Washington coast and White Mountains; camping and fishing. He liked flying and was a small aircraft pilot. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and participated in activities there. He treasured his family and family gatherings. He enjoyed life and felt that his bucket list was complete. Harold is preceded in death by his parents; Walter and Alice Summey, and sister; Norma Posey. He is survived by his wife; Betty Summey, daughter; Marcia Vestal, stepsons; George, John and Lawrence Ellis, eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019 at 10 am. Donations can be made in Harold's honor to River Valley Hospice.
