Derel Bruce Allen Born in Cottonwood, Arizona on March 21, 1935. Departed on Sept. 18, 2002 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Derel Bruce Allen, 67, of Cottonwood died September 18, 2002. He was born March 21, 1935 in Cottonwood, Arizona. Mr. Allen was a retired security guard and also worked in maintenance. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He leaves his wife, Lucy Allen; three daughters, Debra Herrera, Price, Ut., Laura Allen and Karla Ware, both of Cortez, Colo.; five sons, Joe Schindler, Gainsville, Ga., Tim Kelle, Flagstaff, Michael Moody and David Moody, Derel Allen all of Cottonwood, twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held on September 23rd at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints in Cottonwood. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona.
