Death Announcements - 

James Brookins, Jr.

James Jr., the 6-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Brookins, died at 
Prescott Tuesday according to word received by Mr. Brookins here 
yesterday.  Death followed an operation performed recently.

Mr. Brookins is an employe of the Mountain State Telephone and 
Telegraph company, with headquarters i Phoenix and has been here for 
about two years.  Mrs. Brookins has been in Prescott for the past 
several months.

James, Jr., was the eldest of four children.  Mr. Brookins left last 
night to attend the funeral which will be held at 2 o'clock this 
afternoon in Prescott.
