| Tombstone Epitaph, Tombstone, Arizona Territory Sunday, July 21, 1912, page 3, column 6 Arizona Chinaman Buried at Prescott Last Sunday afternoon the remains of Gee Fong (familiarly known as Murphy) were conveyed to their last resting place, the Chinese Masons of Prescott participating in the burial ceremonies. 'Murphy' was perhaps the best known Chinese in northern Arizona, having been engaged in the restaurant business in Prescott for a quarter of a century. The Courier says: He was a good citizen - public spirited, industrious, shrewd in business and at the same time, strictly honest. Transcriber's note: Mr. Murphy is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona. |
Note: These obituaries are transcribed as published and are submitted by volunteers who have no connection to the families. They do not write the obituaries and have no further information other than what is posted within the obituaries. We do not do personal research. For this you would have to find a volunteer who does this or hire a professional researcher.
