MURPHY, Fong Fe

Tombstone Epitaph, Tombstone, Arizona Territory Sunday, July 21, 1912, page 3, column 6 Arizona Chinaman Buried at Prescott Last Sunday afternoon the remains of Gee Fong (familiarly known as Murphy) were conveyed to their last resting place, the Chinese Masons of Prescott participating in the burial ceremonies. 'Murphy' was perhaps the best known Chinese in northern Arizona, having been engaged in the restaurant business in Prescott for a quarter of a century. The Courier says: He was a good citizen - public spirited, industrious, shrewd in business and at the same time, strictly honest. Transcriber's note: Mr. Murphy is buried in an unmarked grave at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
