Sharon Lee Sapwell
(July 18, 1940 – December 15, 2018)

Sharon Lee Sapwell, 78, went home to the angels on Dec. 15, 2018. Sharon was born to Lawrence Sheldon and Willa Marjorie Baker in Kalamazoo Michigan on July 18, 1940, while the angels danced.

Sharon’s family moved to Wickenburg and when she was young, she attended school in the Little Red School House. She rode her horse all over Wickenburg. Eventually, she met and married John Sapwell. Her life took her to other places only to return to the Congress/Wickenburg area.

Sharon worked for the Wickenburg School District for 15 years and for Congress school for a couple years also. She really enjoyed her job, the people she worked with, and the students. Sharon loved horses, dogs, quilting, her family, and meeting people.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Arhens; daughters Cheryl Vernon and Kris Kinsey who were both by her side when she passed; eight grandkids, and 11 great-grandkids. She will be sorely missed.

A Memorial Service will be held at the American Legion Hall, Wickenburg, on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2019 at 1 p.m.

The family would like to thank Jim and Marsha Daniel and Chris and Trish Blanke for their help and support.
