Another sad affliction has over taken the home of Mr. William Robbins,
and this morning his wife passed away, while lying almost in the shadow
of death another daughter awaits the summons.

Yesterday, Miss Millie, a daughter was tenderly laid away. The
affliction which has overtaken the family is sad in the extreme and
nothing that human hands can summon it seems could ward away the
inevitable.

Mrs. Robbins was beloved woman, and the tenderest sympathy is extended
to her bereaved husband and other relatives, who survive her.

With her husband, father and mother, she has been a resident of
Prescott for over a quarter century, and from every one none but kindly
words were hers.

She was born in Tennessee nearly 50 years ago and was a sister of Mrs.
J. C. Snow of Chino Valley, while her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs.
J. C. Allred, are not yet residents of this section.

She will be laid to rest tomorrow at 2 o'clock.

Local Intelligence -

Mrs. Wm. Robbins, aged about 50 years, died at her residence west of
Prescott, yesterday morning. Her daughter, Miss Millie Robbins, was
buried the day before, and the shock caused by the death of the
daughter was too much for the mother, already prostrated by an attack
of pneumonia.

Mrs. Robbins was a native of Tennessee and has lived in this section
for about twenty-five years, where she has enjoyed the esteem and
respect of all who knew her. Another young lady of the household is
reported to be very sick.

Much sympathy is expressed for the bereaved husband and relatives.

Deceased was a daughter of Mr. & Mrs. J. C. Allred and a sister of Mrs.
J. C. Snow, Mrs. C. C. Morrell, Mrs. Henry Roy, W. P. Allred and T. T.
Allred, all of this county.

The funeral will take place from the resident of Wm. Potts, on North
McCormick street, this afternoon at 2 o'clock. Friends and relatives
are invited to attend.

Transcriber's note: Mrs. Robbins is buried at the Citizens Cemetery in
Prescott, Arizona.
