Sarah E. (Richardson) Taylor

Mrs. Sarah Mitchell, aged 66 years, died at her residence in this city
early in the morning of July 29, 1904, after an illness of several
months.

She came to this section in the early sixties. She was a worthy woman
and the tidings of her death will be received with sadness by her many
friends all over Arizona.

The funeral will take place today from the residence of the deceased at
4 o'clock.

Local News of the City and County -

Mrs. Sarah Mitchell died at her residence, corner of McCormick and
Willis streets last week. Deceased was better known as Mrs. Taylor,
having for years and up to the time of his death been the wife of John
Taylor, a former well known resident of the city.

She was 66 years of age, and had resided in this county about forty
years, coming here in the early sixties, having been first married to
the late Joe Melvin of the Verde valley.


Transcriber's note: Mrs. Taylor is buried at the Citizens Cemetery in
Prescott, Arizona.
