McDermid Rites Due In Prescott

Prescott - Rosary for Mrs. Jane Craven Tiernan McDermid, 91, a Prescott 
resident sine 1896, will be recited at 8:30 p.m. tomorrow in Ruffner 
Funeral Home.  Requiem Mass will be said at 9 a.m. Monday, in Sacred 
Heart Church.  Burial will follow in Citizens Cemetery here.

Mrs. McDermid was born in Ireland and came to the United States when 
she was 19.  For years she helped operate the Rafter J Bar Ranch near 
here.  

Mrs. McDermid was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Altar 
Society of the Sacred Heart Church and the Yavapai County Republican 
Women's Club.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Katherine Tiernan Hurley of 
Wichita Falls, Tex., and Genevieve McDermid of Prescott.
