Death at Whipple
Yesterday morning at 1 o'clock p.m. Webb died at the military hospital
at Ft. Whipple, after a lingering illness lasting several months, due
to Bright's disease, which assumed an acute form some six weeks ago.
The deceased was about 41 years of age, and a native of the state of
Utah. He resided in different parts of the territory for the past 20
years, following the occupation of a miner, and was a man who commanded
the respect and esteem of all of his acquaintances.
He leave surviving him one brother, a resident of this county, and his
mother, who resided in Utah.
The remains were taken in charge by the G. C. Ruffner undertaking
establishment and funeral arrangements will be announced on the arrival
of his mother from Utah.
Transcriber's note: Mr. Webb is buried in an unmarked grave at the
Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona.
