Betty E. Saunders, 67, of 3206 W. Sells Drive in Phoenix, died Sunday, March 21, 1971, at her home. She had been a long time resident of Yavapai County prior to moving to Phoenix.

Survivors include one son, James Childers of Glendale, two sisters, Mrs. Betty Jo Stanford of Mayer and Mrs. Donna Teixeira of Phoenix, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 24, at Middle Verde Cemetery near Camp Verde, with the Rev. J. Lloyd Ewart of the United Methodist Church of Prescott officiating.

Ruffner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
