George Gilbert Hastings Born in Rawlins, Wyoming on Jan. 7, 1924. Departed on March 5, 2006 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. George Gilbert Hastings, 82, resident of Cottonwood, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2006. He was born January 7, 1924 to George Clarence and Estate (Sanger) Hastings in Rawlins, Wyoming. George was a High School graduate, a Veteran of the U.S. Army, who served during WWII, and professionally he was an iron worker. George leaves behind his wife Mary, of just five years; his two daughters, Judy Phillips, Camarill, Calif. and Nancy Hall, Talahassee, Fla.; and four grandchildren.
