Ronald Kumm, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Monday Dec. 17, 2018, with his loving wife and family by his side.

He was born on his family farm in Cashton, Wis. on Feb. 1, 1940, to the late Otto and Avonelle Kumm.

Ron began his service in the United States Navy in 1958, serving aboard the U.S.S. Independence.

On Dec. 20, 1974, he married Laurell "Susie" Kumm at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Kenosha.

Ron worked at Ladish Tri-Clover, eventually retiring after 34 years. Ron was an American Legion member and lifelong Hog chapter member, Ron made many wonderful memories as he traveled the United States on his Harley with Susie.

For the past 15 years, Ron and Susie have been Ariz. "snow birds" where they've become locals and made many lifelong friends in Black Canyon City.

Ron is survived by his wife "Susie" of 44 years, his son Randy (Kim) Kumm, daughter Katherine (Carl) Rosencutter, son Steve (Lisa) Kumm, son Brian (Fiona) Kumm, daughter Peggy Martin, son Jeffrey Tauri, sister Judy (late Jim) Erickson, 17 grandchildren, and 20 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, son David Kumm and brother in law Jim Erickson.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be scheduled for a later date.
