| Published in Parker Pioneer on Nov. 7, 2018 - Parker, Arizona - Dorothy Jane Roberts passed away on October 30, 2018 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona while residing at Aster Elder Care where she had lived for the past 3 years. Dotty, as she was known to her many friends, resided at Verde West prior to her move to Lake Havasu City. Dotty was born on September 26, 1938 in Glen Ullin, North Dakota to Jacob and Catherine (Erhart) Dietz. Dotty worked at the post office in Parker, Arizona and became Postmaster for Parker Dam, California and Twin Peaks, California until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband, Terry, crocheting and quilting. She is survived by her brother Robert Bob Dietz, daughter Naomi Crawford, Rachel Barrows and Terrance Hartley. Service for Dotty will be held on Monday November 12, 2018 at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 3163 Maricopa Ave. Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with Rev. Phillip K. Lepak officiating. Following a luncheon at the church, all are invited to join the family for a graveside service at Parker Town Cemetery at 2p.m. Arrangements were entrusted to Parker Funeral Home.
