ROOF, SR., James Roger

Lake Havasu City, Arizona -

James Roger Roof Sr., 84, of Lake Havasu City, passed away on Jan. 7, 
2019 with family by his side. Jim was born Nov. 19, 1934 in Mason 
City, Iowa to Elgin Roof and Leora Work Roof. 

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Neva, of 64 years, daughter Janet 
(Pete) Reyelts, son Jim Jr. (Holly), and daughters Judy Neiman, and Jo 
Ellen (Michael) Jernigan, and grandchildren Jaryd Neiman, Ben Roof, 
Bethany Roof, Steven Reyelts, and Gina Giovanni.

Jim graduated from South High School in Denver. He attended Denver 
University. He was a lithographic pressman until becoming a union 
representative for the Graphic Communications International Union, 
until his retirement. 

Jim enjoyed playing duplicate bridge and golfing with his buddies of 
London Bridge Men's Club. He was also a member of BPO Elks 2399. 
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
