| Published in Today's News-Herald on Feb. 5, 2019 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Steven Lawrence Reynolds passed on Jan. 8, 2019 from natural causes. He was born on Feb. 7, 1953 to John and Spurlyn Reynolds in Los Angeles, and graduated from Laharbro High. The oldest of three children, Steven enjoyed surfing and the California beach life. He was very proud of his brother and sister. Steven Reynolds moved to Lake Havasu City in 1994, where his best friend Don Clark lived. While being a painter by trade, he met his long-time mate Bea Hill on Valentine's Day in 1995. He was proud to be able to help raise Bea's sons, Garrett and Branden Hill, as well as grandchildren Mercedes and Garrett. He went to work for Lake Havasu Unified School District in 1999 where he was a custodian/FSP. Steven enjoyed the lake and was an avid reader, fishing and reading the newspaper daily. He also loved ESPN, family and friends, and was known for his laugh and smile. Steven was a wonderful, kind man who would do anything for anyone. He loved his job at the high school, where he was a role model of hard work to all of the students. Reynolds is survived by his brother Mike and his wife Wendy, nephew Christopher and his wife Alisia, and his niece Heather. He is proceeded in death by his uncle Hadley, and his mother and father. Steven will be greatly missed by all. Services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 1605 McCulloch Blvd South, on Feb. 16, 2019, from 11 a.m. to noon. A celebration of life will be held afterward at the R Bar. |
