| Camp Verde Independent, Camp Verde, Arizona Thursday, June 07, 2018 Darrel Floyd Bollen left this Earth on June 4, 2018, and is now with our Lord and Savior. He was born on June 17, 1943, to Clardy and Lura Bollen in Los Angeles, California. He was the youngest of 10 children. Darrel was married to Christine Marie Beuter in Pasadena, California, on Aug. 1, 1969. They were blessed with five children. They left California in 1981 to raise their children in the small community of Cottonwood, Arizona. Darrel worked in the construction industry for many years and shared a passion for spreading the gospel and reaching children for Christ. He and his wife were missionaries overseas and fostered over 30 children from the Verde Valley. Darrel is survived by his wife Christie; his five siblings; four children: Jason, Serena, Naresa, and Jamin; 10 grandkids, three great- grandkids, and one child under guardianship. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 9, and at 10 a.m., at Verde Community Church, 111 S. Candy Lane, Cottonwood. Information provided by survivors. |
