John Fred Lemme, Sr., 83, of Surprise, a mechanic, died April 7, 1996.  
He was born in Chicago and was an Army veteran.  Survivors include his 
wife, Gertrude; son, John, Jr.; and three grandchildren.  Services 
Friday Peace Lutheran Church, 18265 N. 89th Ave., Peoria, AZ.  
Contributions to the church or Phoenix Veteran Medical Center, 
Voluntary Services, 650 E. Indiana School Road, Phoenix.  Brown's 
Colonial Mortuary.
