| Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Thursday, July 19, 2018 Julia V. “Ginger” Edwards, 79, of Rimrock, Arizona, passed away on July 13, 2018, in Cottonwood, Arizona. She was born on Jan. 7, 1939, in Pittsburg, Oklahoma, to George Walter Alexander and Bessie Louise Hoag. Ginger enjoyed cooking, crocheting, reading, crossword puzzles, bingo and outdoor activities, such as fishing and camping. She was one of the best cooks we have ever known. Ginger was preceded in death by her grandson, Shawn K. Dalhover. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Buff M. Edwards; son, Buff Alex Edwards (Eddie Edwards) of Mesa, Arizona; daughter, Julia L. Wayment (Larry) of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; brothers, William Alexander (Karen) of Phoenix, Arizona, Virgil Alexander (Lois) of Tempe, Arizona, and Hal Alexander (Debbie) of Cottonwood; her dog, Honey; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren. Services have been held. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to Maggie’s Hospice, 306 N. Virginia St., Prescott, AZ 86301 and Valley View Care, 421 N. Willard Street, Cottonwood, Arizona 86326.
