Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Wednesday, September 22, 2004 This Week In Wickenburg History 60 Years Ago Pioneer Congress Resident Is Dead (Friday, Sept. 21, 1944) Tony Urquides, pioneer resident of Congress, passed away at 4:30 o'clock Monday morning at the home of his daughter Mercedes Urquides of Wickenburg. He had been seriously ill for a long while. The deceased was the father of 10 children---three of them, sons, serving with our armed forces. Funeral services will not be arranged until arrival of the sons.
