Arizona Republic (Phoenix, Arizona) Saturday, October 4, 1958, p. 24 Funeral services for Reuben (Nick) Mautz, 38, of 2063 N. 34th St., will be at 3 p.m. Monday in the Chapel in the Garden, Mercer Mortuary, 1541 E. Thomas. Dr. Joe H. Music will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park. Mr. Mautz, a native of Wickenburg, had driven a service truck for Arizona Public Service Co. here for the past 13 years. He was injured fatally Thursday noon when struck by an automobile and thrown against his truck. He died in Good Samaritan Hospital. He was a member of the Creighton Men's Club, and coached Little League Baseball at Creighton School for three years. He was a World War II veteran and was based in England with an aerial photo squadron. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Ruby; two daughters, Karen and Joan, and a son, Raymond, all of Phoenix; his mother, Mrs. Jacob Mautz of Marysville, Calif., and three brothers, Fred and Raymond, both of Phoenix, and Jack, in California. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Jeanette Oberon, Wickenburg, Mrs. Katherine Spangler, Marysville, and Mrs. Josephine Flood, Phoenix. Friends may call at the mortuary from noon today until service time Monday.
