Arizona Republic (Phoenix, Arizona) Monday, March 1, 1948, p. 10 Matilda Adams Succumbs At 67 Funeral arrangements are pending for Mrs. Matilda Jane Adams, 67 years old, who died Saturday at her home, 2430 West Glenrosa avenue. Born April 20, 1880, in Dalton, Ga., Mrs. Adams had lived in Phoenix about five years. She and her husband, William Jasper Adams, who survives her, were married January 4, 1894, and recently marked their 54th wedding anniversary. Other survivors are one son, Paul J., Phoenix; three daughters, Mrs. W. C. Martin of Mangum, Okla., Mrs. J. E. Snyder and Mrs. V. L. Herndon of Phoenix; two brothers, Freeman and George Morgan of Dalton, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. John Hall, Dalton, Ga.; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren
