She was born April 1, 1920 in Colburn, Colorado. Mrs. Birdsell was employed by WalMart in Cottonwood. Her husband Franklin Birdsell preceded her in death. She leaves two daughters, Mary Prentiss, Calif. and Carolyn Fields, Wash.; sons, Gary Birdsell, Ill. and Larry Birdsell, Calif.; one sister, Elberta Hulsey and two brothers Carl Coon and Dale Coon, all of Ariz.; thirteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A graveside service was held on July 20th at the Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale. Donations in her memory may be made to the Northern Arizona Hospice, 269 S.
