Mariano Hernandez
(March 18, 1963 - February 19, 2019)

Mariano Hernandez-Zapata, age 55, passed away on February 19, 2019 at his home in Wickenburg, Arizona. Mariano was born March 18, 1963 in Gomez Palacio, Durango, Mexico to Fidencio Hernandez and Maria Luisa Zapata Hernandez. He came to Arizona as a young man at the age of 9 years where he attended schools locally.

He later began working for the Napoles family business where he has worked for over 25 years. Mariano was a hard working man and had exceptional tractor skills. He enjoyed all outdoor activities. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him, coworkers and friends. Rest in Peace Mariano.

He is survived by his wife Jeri Hernandez of Missouri; children: Maria Luisa Palma and Martin Hernandez; his companion Sarah Abraham; brothers Efren Zapata Burciaga, Irene Zapata Buricaga (sic), Martin Zapata Burciaga, Augustin Hernandez and Federico Hernandez; and extended family Vicente & Claudia Napoles, Alessandro, Francisco, Alberto & Claudia S. Napoles.

A funeral Mass will be said on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. A Reception and luncheon will follow services at the Green Spot Nursery 50447 US Hwy 60-89 in Wickenburg.
