Nelson, 67 years old, a veteran of the Spanish-American War, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday from Memory Chapel of A. L. Moore and Sons. The Rev. J. Reed Downs and an Elks lodge funeral committee will officiate. Cremation will be at Greenwood Memorial Park. Mr. Nelson died yesterday in Papago Park Veterans Hospital. A resident of Phoenix 28 years, he had operated a number of soft-drink fountains here. He is survived by his wife, Alice; two daughters, Dorothy Alice Nelson of Washington, D.C., and Mrs. F. H. Bradshaw of Mesa; a son, Carl Nelson, jr., New York City; three sisters, all of St. Louis, and three grandchildren.
