| Arizona Republic (Phoenix, Arizona) Tuesday, March 2, 1948, p. 7 Aged Resident Dies In Mesa MESA, Mar. 1--Mrs. Lizzie Frances Percifield, 90 years old, died here Sunday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Pearl Bartholomew. A native of Benton County, Ark., Mrs. Percifield had lived in Mesa 12 years. In addition to Mrs. Bartholomew, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Mae Swearingen of Van Buren, Ark., 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the M. L. Gibbons Mortuary here with the Rev. Oliver Werner, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Mesa Cemetery. |
