Rose was born on August 10, 1927 in Strathtroy, Ontario, Canada to John Westwater and Dori Brett Westwater. She had worked as a ranch cook for many years. She enjoyed the ranch life. She is survived by her children Judith Johnson of Surprise, Az and son David Bourgeois of Wickenburg.
