The Times (Munster, Indiana) Monday, December 4, 1978, p. 30 Louis (Zidanich) Zidanik, age 84 of Schererville, passed away Sunday, December 3, 1978 at Phoenix, Arizona. Survivors: wife, Agnes; one son, Walter (Carol) Zidanich of Hessville; three daughters, Mrs. Helen (Peter) Pisut, Mrs. Rose (Zelba) Butler, both of Phoenix, Mrs. Frances (Leland) Thompson of Griffith; one brother, George Zidanich of Buffalo, New York; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Mr. Zidanik had been a resident of Schererville for the past 30 years, was a member of the Croatian Paternal Union of America, retired from Inland Steel Company, member of the Inland 25 Year Club, member of Local #1010 United Steelworkers of America.
