| Wickenburg Funeral Home & Crematory, Wickenburg, AZ Jack A. DeFoe December 11, 1928 - April 28, 2019 It is with deep sadness that the family announces the death Jack A. DeFoe at the age of 90. Jack was the third child of Ruth and Ross DeFoe born December 11, 1928 in Eugene, Oregon. He passed away on April 28, 2019 in Wickenburg, Arizona. Jack was an Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. As a young boy Jack held his first musical recital at the age of 4 years in Eugene, Oregon and from that day on has played music for everyone, anytime, any day, anywhere. Playing music brought him much pleasure. In his early years he was a cowboy. He participated in the National Finals and he won many gold buckles. He had an arena in La Pine, Oregon and he operated his own real estate office. Over the years he bought and sold ranches and had 2 airplanes which he used in his work to see ranches all over the western states. He came to Wickenburg in 2001. He loved the Town and everyone he met. He worked at the Flying E Ranch for a brief time where he met other cowboys and made many friends. Please remember Jack with fondness and gratitude for his friendship to each and everyone he met. A Celebration of Jack's Life will be held on Friday, May 10th at 11:00 AM at Wickenburg Funeral Home followed by a reception at 1:00 PM at the Country Club Park Clubhouse. See Also: Find A Grave |
