| Arizona Weekly Journal-Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory May 29, 1889 The funeral obsequies of W. T. Osenburg took place this afternoon, the procession, consisting of a military escort formed of Barrett Post G.A.R., and a full representation of Aztlan Lodge, No. 1, R. A. M., and a retinue of mourners. The concourse accompanied the remains to the Congregational church, where services were solemnized by Rev. E. D. Wyckoff. Prof. Thomas presided at the organ, and the requiem music was rendered by Mrs. W. E. Hazeltine, Miss Mini Martin, Prof. D. M. Martin and E. P. Clark. An eloquent tribute to the memory of the deceased was delivered by the officiating minister, and the coffin was committed to the grave in the Masonic cemetery. The pall bearers were R. Connell, J. W. Riley, J. I. Hawkins, F. Brecht, T. Winters and G. E. Berry. See Also: Arizona Gravestone Photo Project |
