| Published in the Daily Miner on June 20, 2019 - Kingman, Arizona - On Sunday, June 16, 2019, Rochelle Elizabeth Pedi passed to heaven, surrounded by family and friends who loved her. Although Rochelle was taken far too early, she had a happy life, full of travel and hobbies and time spent with her mother. Rochelle was an avid reader, having a vast library of her favorite authors. Rochelle was a devotee of all things related to Harry Potter, Twilight and other romantic, magical and mystical tales. She was a member of FFA and 4-H, raising various animals for the county fair. She loved to bowl and enjoyed tournaments here and out of town. She loved arts and crafts, making lanyards for the Marines at Christmastime. Rochelle really had fun making road trips to many different places with her mother. Rochelle took cooking classes through Kingman High School, she loved trying new things to challenge her abilities. She was into Disney, everything and anything Disney, and had many collectibles. Rochelle had too many Build-A-Bears to count. Her inner child saw no good reason to “grow up.” So she was always traveling through the lives of the people blessed to know her with a wonderfully innocent outlook. She was born in Lake Havasu City on March 22, 1995 and grew up in Kingman. She attended school in Kingman and graduated in 2014. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and was a kind and generous person. Rochelle was soft-spoken, loud, giving, demanding, sweet and often ornery. In short, she was a wonderfully interesting and complex young woman. She leaves behind her parents; Michelle Guenther and Martin Pedi Sr. (Shawn), grandmother; Deanna Lindsay, siblings; Christopher Bartmus (Angelina), Shae Agersea (Jonathon), Martin Pedi Jr. (Jennifer), Matthew Pedi (Katie), Michael Pedi , and Fiona Pedi, aunt; Marian Guenther, uncle; Michael Guenther, god-parents and family; Wayne and Terri Hurley, Jamie Owen, Mary Taylor, and E.J. Hurley, cousins; DeShae, Jacob, and Luke Fangmeyer, Ty, Tanika and AmberLynn Harper, and George and Penny Rodriguez, many nieces and nephews; Jennyfer, Kira, Daimen, Liam, James, Christopher, Italy, Kayl and Kynleigh. Although Rochelle is gone from us, she leaves behind treasured memories and love. A rosary will be held in her memory at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 10 a.m. June 22, 2019. A Celebration of Life will be announced as the preparations are finalized. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund) in the name of Rochelle E. Pedi. |
