SCOTTSDALE--Margaret Mary Porn, 97, a former teacher and retired linotype operator for West Publishing Co., died March 19, 1986, in Denver. Miss Porn, of Scottsdale, was born in Chippewa Falls, Wis., and moved to Arizona in 1956 from St. Paul, Minn. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, the Sodality and the Third Order of St. Francis. She also worked as a volunteer for the Little Sisters of the Poor residence for the elderly for many years. Survivors include her great-niece, Marie Burke Lia, and great-nephew, John E. Burke. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with rosary at 7:30 p.m., at Messinger Mortuary, 7601 E. Indian School Road. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at her church, 7655 Main.
