| Prescott Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona December 23, 1931 William H. McMichael, 87, formerly a resident of the Mayer district and for the last 10 years a guest at the Arizona Pioneers' Home, passed to eternal rest at the home about 6 o'clock last night, his death resulting from old age. A native of Kentucky where he was born Oct. 16, 1844, Mr McMichael removed to Arizona in 1875 making his home first in Prescott and later going to Mayer where he established a home for himself, his wife and his son, Judge Harry McMichael of Mayer. His wife preceded him in death about 9 years ago and was laid at rest in Mt. View, where he will be placed beside her tomorrow afternoon. Mr. McMichael was a life member of Prescott lodge No. 330 B.P.O. Elks and funeral services will be under the auspices of that organization. In addition to his son, he is survived by a sister, Mrs Sam Foran of the Bouse district. |
