STEWART, Joseph Roy

Published in the Daily Miner on July 29, 2019 - Kingman, Arizona - On Friday, July 19, 2019, Joseph Stewart, loving husband and father of four; Cindy, Bob, Debbie and Denis, and four stepchildren; Caroline, Jimmy, Eddie and Roger, passed away at the age of 88 years old. Joseph was born June 3, 1931 in Prescott, Arizona to Roy and Beulah Stewart. He married his lovely wife, Anna Stewart, on Nov. 21, 1984. Joseph had a passion for running marathons and was a great father to all of his children, and a friend to all those he loved to be around. He was known for his quick wit, infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. Joseph was a testing engineer for ADOT and helped with the building of roads for 31 years. Joseph was preceded in death by his father; Roy A. Stewart and his mother; Beulah, brothers; Charles and Bill, sisters; Mary and Ann, and his daughter; Cindy. He is survived by his wife; Anna Stewart, his three children, four stepchildren, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17 at Kingman Family Worship Center, 4087 N. Eagle Drive, in Kingman, Arizona.
