| Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Wednesday, July 31, 2019, p A-4 Mary L. Tolley passed away on July 22, 2019, at home surrounded by family. She was born on Sept. 25, 1935, to Stanley and Marian Locke in Springfield, Ill. Mary had a great compassion for animals and nature. She had been a Docent with The Living Desert in Palm Springs. Mary lived many years in Idyllwild, Calif., before moving to Wickenburg in 2004. She took great pride during her years of volunteer service at The Wickenburg Humane Society. Mary was also an avid birder, hiker and enjoyed doing and trading puzzles with her friends. Mary is survived by her four children Leigh Bennett, Lynn Wetter, Jim Tolley and Lisan Lema; her five grandchildren Kahai, Dane, Vance, Ruslan and Tiana; and one great-grandchild, Kingston. She was preceded by her brother John Locke. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wickenburg Humane Society. Friends and family may offer online condolences at www.wickenburgfuneralhome.com.
