Richard was born June 16, 1930 to Francis and Marvena (Hasson) Sinsabaugh. Richard was married to Wanda Lee Sinsabaugh. 

Richard and Wanda are buried at the National Memorial Cemetery, 23029 North Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024, Section 42, Site 142.
