RAY, Della Laree

Della Laree Ray, 92, of Tucson passed away May 18, 2009, in Tucson. Laree was born in Bryce on Feb. 13, 1917, to George A. and Almeda Nelson Peck. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and worked as a school bus driver for several years. Laree married John Ray on Aug. 2, 1941, and had two children, Joan and Ron. John passed away in 1998. Laree is survived by her children, Joan (Charles) Patterson and Ron (Nancy) Ray; grandchildren, Kelly (Jeff) Kirwan, Steve (Joncie) Patterson and Brandon Ray; and great-grandchildren, Brianna Kirwan, Lilia Patterson and Wyatt Patterson. She was preceded in death by her parents, George A. and Almeda Peck; husband, John Ray; and nine brothers and sisters. Funeral services were Monday, May 25, at the Caldwell Funeral Chapel. Interment in the Bryce Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of the Caldwell Funeral Chapel. The family would like to give special thanks to the Heartland Hospice staff and Tampico House staff for the wonderful care of their mother.
