| Wickenburg Sun (Wickenburg, Arizona) Wednesday, September 11, 2019, p. A-5 Rita Eileen Jorgenson passed away Sept. 2, 2019 in Surprise; born Oct. 18, 1944 in Omaha, Neb., to Clem and Agnes Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents; Clem and Agnes Johnson, brother; Clem Junior, Robert, Phillip, and sister; Barbara Menshek. She is survived by her children; Daniel McClurg, Kathy Jambor (Mike), and Joe Friell (Jennifer), grandchildren; Samantha (Dave), Ryan, Sara, Alex, and Madison, along with her great-grandchildren; Lucy, Caleb and Brea. Rita is also survived by her sisters; Jean Allard, Marilyn Lantz (Ron), and brother; Ray Johnson, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Rita spent most of her life in Minnesota, but the last 10 years, Wickenburg was her home and truly loved living there. She had a love for music, dancing and gardening, along with an understated sense of humor that not all understood but buoyed her up through life's ups and downs. Rita was a strong woman who did not turn away from adversity but continued to move forward and enjoy life. There will be memorial service for Rita on Oct. 4 at the family residence.
