Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory -
Lake Havasu City, Arizona -

Gladys M. Webb, 99, died on the morning of Sunday, February 5, 2017 in
her home in Lake Havasu City, AZ.

Gladys was born in Wheaton, Illinois to William and Beatrice Jenkins,
of Folkstone, Kent, England. In 1934, she graduated from Cass Tech
High School in Detroit, Michigan. While going to school, she worked at
J.L. Hudson's Department Store. In July 1936, she married her high
school sweetheart Harold Webb. The couple spent much of their married
life in Detroit and Farmington, Michigan where Gladys was a busy wife,
mother of two, and Director of Customer Relations at National Bank of
Detroit. In 1971, the couple retired to Lake Havasu City, AZ as
pioneers of the newly developing city. After Harold's death, Gladys
married Nick Orn in November 1979.

In Lake Havasu, Gladys spent over 37 years serving on the Havasu
Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, including a year as president of
the Auxiliary. She was an active member of the old Community
Presbyterian Church and NARFE. Her interests included traveling,
stitching, needlepoint, stained glass projects, gardening, and
entertaining. She was always game for a trip 'up river' to Laughlin.

Those who loved Gladys will remember her beautiful smile, outgoing
personality, and her love for her kitty. Her grandchildren fondly
remember listening to her tell stories and feeding her 'pet' Road
Runners with her.

Gladys is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 40 years,
Harold; her husband of 12 years, Nick; her infant daughter, Alice; and
her sister, Evelyn Crane.

She is survived by her two children, William (Ruthann) Webb and Bonnie
Webb; two grandchildren, Sarah (Andrew) Workman and Stephen (Gale)
Webb; and three great grandchildren, Emily, Katherine, and Alexander.

A private memorial service will be held for family members at a later
date.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Thoughts
and condolences can be made to the Webb family at www.lietz-
