| Sterling Daily Gazette (Sterling, Illinois) Thursday, June 26, 1952, p. 2 Lifelong Resident Of Sterling Passes Away Miss Elizabeth (Lizzie) Miller, 1002 Fourth avenue, Sterling, passed away at 12:30 a.m. Thursday in Community General hospital after an illness of the past year. The body rests at the Melvin funeral home where friends may call after 7 p.m. Thursday. Funeral rites will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. n the Melvin funeral home for the relatives and at 2:30 p.m. in the Reformed Mennonite church. Interment will take place in the cemetery adjoining the church. Emmett Bankert of Valparaiso, Ind., will officiate, assisted by Edwin F. Stouffer. Miss Miller was born Feb. 5, 1896, in Sterling township, the daughter of Christ F. and Emma Schuler Miller. She was a lifelong resident of this community and a member of the Reformed Mennonite church. Surviving her are three brothers, George F. and Henry S. of Sterling and Lloyd C. of Wickenburg, Ariz.
