Olga M. Rimbey, 79, who was brought to Phoenix as a child from her native New Orleans and was in the first graduating class at St. Mary's Elementary School after Arizona became a state in 1912, died Tuesday in Good Samaritan Hospital.

Mrs. Rimbey, 1403 E. Jefferson, was a member of the Altar Society at the Church of St. Mary.

Survivors include her children Evelyn Ragsdale, Clarence, Leonard, John and Norman; a brother, 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Rosary will be at 7 p.m. today in Grimshaw Bethany Chapel, 710 W. Bethany Home. Mass will be at 9 a.m. Friday in the Church of St. Mary, Third Street and Monroe.
