| Published in Fort Wayne Newspapers on May 2, 2003 - Fort Wayne, Indiana - MAXINE IRENE DITSLEAR, 75, of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., died April 24, 2003 at her home. Born Aug. 29, 1927 in Yoder, she was the daughter of Ed and Mae Lipp. Maxine attended North Side High School in Fort Wayne and went on to become a Real Estate Broker. She married her husband, Harry, 40 years ago in Reno, Nev. They enjoyed traveling and being together. "Maxine was a great wife, mother and an outstanding step-mother. She loved her kids, step-kids and grandchildren. Maxine will forever be loved and deeply missed by her family and friends." Surviving in addition to her husband are son, Dennis Mash of Fort Wayne; daughter, Sharlene Mullen of San Diego, Calif.; step-sons, Jim Ditslear of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Paul Ditslear of Vine Grove, Ky.; step-daughter, M. Jane Platt and Nan Gabet of Fort Wayne and Diane Crowell of Spokane, Wash.; brothers, Richard and Wayne Lipp of Fort Wayne; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. A son, Brad preceded her in death in 1992 at the age of 26. Memorial service is 11 a.m. Saturday at Mount Olive Lutheran Church. Arrangements by Lake Havasu Mortuary. See Also: Find A Grave |
