William Killip Jr., 81, of Phoenix, an engineer and the first mayor of Goodyear from 1946 to 1956, died Dec. 27, 1989. He was born in England. Survivors include two sons, W. Russel and James D.; one daughter, Elizabeth Salomone; two sisters; and four grandchildren. Memorial services: 3 p.m. Saturday, Shadow Rock Congregational Church, 12861 N. Eighth Ave. Contributions to the church. Hansen Mortuary.
